Ongoing Capacity Building:
Supporting Intergenerational Community Building

Overview of Services:

The Communities for All Ages National Office provides a range of individually tailored technical assistance, consulting and training packages to support intergenerational community building efforts.

Consultation for funders includes advising on effective grantmaking strategies to support intergenerational community building and community change efforts.

Consultation for local sites may include: building and managing multigenerational, cross-sector teams; increasing civic engagement across the lifespan; telling the story of local efforts with an emphasis on outcomes; developing organizing strategies and local campaigns that appeal to multiple generations; developing multi-generational shared spaces; engaging local colleges and universities in multigenerational initiatives, and addressing critical issues (such as education, health and wellness, crime and safety) from a lifespan perspective.
